Covid-19 Update

March 17th, 2020

To our valued Customers,

The Newfoundland and Labrador Liquor Corporation (NLC) takes its responsibility for the health, safety and well-being of our customers and staff very seriously. In light of the COVID-19 virus, we have taken the following precautions:

  • Enhanced cleanliness protocols, including more frequent sanitization of customer contact points, increased frequency of handwashing and the provision of gloves and hand sanitizer for staff;
  • Cancellation of all in-store product sampling sessions;
  • Postponement of Beer Expo;
  • Restriction of all non-essential business travel and enforcement of self-isolation of those employees returning from international travel since March 15th;
  • Advisement of staff that, regardless of travel, any employees experiencing symptoms associated with COVID-19 (fever, coughing, difficulty breathing) should stay home and avoid contact with others.

To protect yourself and others, we urge customers who are displaying flu-like symptoms or have recently travelled internationally to not visit us at this time.

NLC continues to monitor the situation closely and will take any and all precautions that helps protect its customers and staff.
