Fall Favourites

September 22nd marks the first day of Autumn this year, and to celebrate, we’ve curated some of our favourite products to enjoy during the fall season. In addition to these autumnal selections, we’re also highlighting wines featuring the Grenache grape variety in honour of International Grenache Day on September 20th. Grenache, known as Garnacha in its native Spain, is one of the most widely planted red wine varietals in the world. While Garnacha is often enjoyed as a single varietal in northern Spain, its finest expressions are found in southern Rhône Valley blends, such as Châteauneuf-du-Pape and Côtes du Rhône. This versatile grape not only produces medium to full-bodied reds but is also widely used to craft crisp, fruit-forward rosés, like the renowned rosés of Provence in southern France. Kick off your Friday evening with a glass of Grenache-based rosé, then decant your favorite Châteauneuf-du-Pape as you prepare dinner. It pairs beautifully with grilled lamb chops or your preferred cut of beef!
