Light bodied white wines are usually pale in colour, with delicate flavours, no oak influence and a finish that is crisply refreshing. Such wines are the specialty of cool climate regions, and in addition to being perfect aperitifs they also go great with light dishes especially shellfish, seafood and white meats.
