NLC Corporate Liquor Stores in St. John’s metro area shifting to ordering and pick-up service

FEBRUARY 10TH, 2021

Effective tomorrow, February 11, 2021, Newfoundland and Labrador Liquor Corporation (NLC) in consultation with the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador will close NLC corporate Liquor Stores to the public in St. John’s, Mount Pearl, Paradise and Conception Bay South as it shifts to online/phone ordering and pick-up only for these locations. Stores at 20 Lake Avenue (Dominion), 370 Newfoundland Drive (Colemans) and 3 Queen Street in St. John’s and 6 Centennial Square (Colemans) in Mount Pearl will close until further notice.

For details on this service, please visit https://nlliquor.com/buy-product/.

To ensure the safety and well-being of staff and customers and to reduce the potential for spread of COVID-19, NLC maintains its pre-existing measures throughout stores province-wide. These include physical distancing protocols, plexiglass protection at cash lanes, enhanced cleaning, increased frequency of hand washing and the provision of hand sanitizer and masks for staff. As well, NLC requires all customers to wear a non-medical mask when shopping at its locations and requests that customers displaying flu-like symptoms not visit its stores at this time.

While stores in St. John’s, Mount Pearl, Paradise and Conception Bay South will only offer online ordering and pick-up service at this time, stores in the remainder of the Province will continue to operate as normal, under the criteria set forth by the Office of the Chief Medical Officer of Health. Online ordering and pick-up is available at all Liquor Stores for the convenience of shoppers.

Please note that as Liquor Express stores are under management of private operators, these locations may be open for business at this time.
