September is Bourbon Heritage Month and our PKCs have shared a few of their favourites.

In this Expert Picks, we look at two popular grape varietals and provide you with some of our favourite selections!

We live in the best country in the world! In addition to our stunning landscapes and free healthcare we also punch above our weight in terms of the alcoholic products that we produce. Our craft beer and spirits are highly sought out, and while only being the 28th biggest wine producing country in the world, we are known to produce amazing cool climate grape varieties like Chardonnay, Riesling, Pinot Noir and Cabernet Franc. Pro tip – look to Canada for your next bottle of traditionally made sparkling wine as we have the perfect combination of soils and climates for this top-shelf style of bubbles!

NLC has great gift options for those fathers who like to imbibe! If he likes beer, wine, or spirits we have him covered. In this version of Expert Picks our team is also providing one of their favourite gins and rums in honour of World Gin Day on June 8th and World Rum Day on the 13th. Please drink responsibly and have a great summer!

Apparently mid-May month is time to celebrate! In addition to the Victoria Day long weekend, we are also stoked about International Chardonnay Day on the 25th of May, and the onset of new rosés to our market over the coming days and weeks! In this edition of Expert Picks we provide you with a favourite rosé and chardonnay, as well as some staples for the May 2-4 weekend. To the campers – please bring an extra sweater, you know that you are going to need it!

Moscato in the springtime – is there anything better? In honour of World Moscato Day on May 9th our team has shared their favourite fizzy “Aromatic and Sweet” Moscatos below. Not to be outdone we also provide an “Aromatic and Flavourful” Sauvignon Blanc each in celebration of “International Sauvignon Blanc Day” on May 5th. Our mothers are big fans of both styles! We hope yours are as well!
