BenMarco Cabernet Sauvignon
A premium Cabernet Sauvignon from the high altitude (1150 meters above sea level) vineyards of Los Arboles in the Uco Valley (Mendoza) in Argentina. Aged for 11 months in 100% second use French oak. On the nose floral notes with some herbal accents along with the typical dark fruit (black currants, blackberry) and some spicy notes. On the palate fresh an full bodied with notes of cassis, blackberry and black pepper with some subtle hints of sweet baking spices. Firm, but fine, tannin structure and a pleasant fresh backbone. This wine can be held easily for up to 10 years or you can enjoy it now. 93 Points from Descorchados and 94 points from Tim Atkin.
