Chateau Climens Asphodele 2020

Elegant and subtle but also gifted with the typical vibrancy of the Climens terroir. The first impression on the nose is a floral note of gardenia associated with a soft and saline minerality. Sweet pear, fresh herbs, seaside fennel, vetiver, and Iris. On the palate, the sensation of freshness is striking, followed by a velvety-silky texture and in the end a fine bitterness of yellow grapefruit and notes of pepper and ginger. Both its perfume and texture evoke a magnolia petal. Its flesh is round and firm, slenderlike a water nymph. The impression of pure and fresh spring, which is quite typical of Asphodele, is remarkable and it is coupled with a beautiful depth.
