Produced from 30+ year old vines. Aged for 12 months in 70% American and 30% French oak, this is a medium colored wine with a garnet tinge. The nose is expressive with notes of strawberries, violets and licorice. Well balanced, fluid and smooth with a fruity exuberance. A perfect wine to pair with roasted chicken, pork chops, roast beef and meatloaf with mashed potatoes.
