Quails Gate Old Vines Foche

Once widely planted throughout the Okanagan Valley, the Maréchal Foch grape is now grown at only a handful of wineries in the region. The grapes for this wine were hand-harvested from our Osoyoos vineyard where they were first planted in 1978. Aged in 20% new French oak. Expect inviting aromas of spiced clove, dried red currant and wild game meats. This well-structured wine presents flavours of sour cherry and cocoa with hints of vanilla. An ideal match for barbecued mushroom, lamb and venison or a thick-cut ribeye steak alongside roasted potatoes and glazed shallots.
