The Harvest edition from the Irishman whiskey range is a beloved and much welcomed re-release of the original Founder’s Reserve. The Harvest is made from 70% single malt and 30% single pot still whiskeys, all made with Irish barley and all triple distilled. Aged in ex-fill bourbon barrels results in a flavour profile full of comforting bread-y and spicy fruit notes. The Harvest was selected for the new name to honour Irish agriculture and distilling. Nose: Melons and tropical oranges, fresh bread dough. Palate: Creamy mouthfeel, Peek Frean’s shortbread, apple pie with cinnamon. Finish: Vanilla biscuit notes with a hint of white pepper.
