Chateau Charmes-Godard Blanc
The vineyard was bought by Nicolas Thienpont in 1988 and produces a dry wine, refined like a great Bordeaux white and participating in the rebirth of the Appellation. The predominance of Semillon and the winemaking techniques used (fermentation in barrels, maturation on the lees) give the wine roundness and liveliness. Bottled, it develops a nice complexity.
