The Office of the Chief Medical Officer of Health announced today that the Avalon Peninsula will move to Alert Level 4, while areas west of the Avalon Peninsula will move to Alert Level 3, effective at midnight, Friday, March 12, 2021.

The Office of the Chief Medical Officer of Health announced today that areas west of the Avalon Peninsula will move to Alert Level 4, effective at midnight, while the Avalon Peninsula will remain in Alert Level 5. As such, NLC Liquor Stores west of the Avalon Peninsula will open to the public for in-store service, beginning tomorrow, February 26. Stores will open at reduced capacity. Effective tomorrow, February 11, 2021, Newfoundland and Labrador Liquor Corporation (NLC) in consultation with the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador will close NLC corporate Liquor Stores to the public in St. John’s, Mount Pearl, Paradise and Conception Bay South as it shifts to online/phone ordering and pick-up only for these locations. Stores at 20 Lake Avenue (Dominion), 370 Newfoundland Drive (Colemans) and 3 Queen Street in St. John’s and 6 Centennial Square (Colemans) in Mount Pearl will close until further notice.
