Milan Nestarec Transcendent Rose
Low intervention, natural wine that is a field blend of Regent, Riesling and Neuburger grapes. The direct-pressed Regent juice is added to an open vat where the Riesling and Neuburger are already fermenting on skins. This wine is super fresh and super clean. Although a rose, it retains the characteristics of the white wines. Low tannins but bright, fresh acidity. Intense pink colour. Aromas of prune, cassis, raspberry. On the palate hints of herb, blood orange, with some nuttiness and even salinity. Pairs with hard cheese, chicken, appetizers. Lovely by the glass.
