NLC Liquor Stores encourage continued mask use

ST. JOHN’S, NEWFOUNDLAND & LABRADOR, March 15, 2022

While the provincial mask mandate has been lifted as of March 14, 2022, we strongly encourage mask wearing and physical distancing while visiting NLC Liquor Stores. Customers are reminded that they may limit their interactions with others at our stores by ordering online or asking an NLC Associate for assistance. Thank you for the kindness and understanding you continue to show our staff and each other as we navigate the pandemic together.

NLC reminds public of mandatory mask protocol

ST. JOHN’S, NEWFOUNDLAND & LABRADOR,

NLC wishes to reiterate that in the interest of the health and safety of customers and staff, the wearing of non-medical masks is mandatory at Liquor Stores while shopping.

If customers are unable to wear a mask due to medical exemption, we encourage them to order online at nlliquor.com and identify an individual who may pick up their order. If this is not possible, customers with a mask exemption may remain at the checkout, where they will receive assistance. To limit their interactions with others, an NLC Associate will assist by picking up their order and proceeding to the cash lane, where the customer may pay.

Given the restrictions in place due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, NLC continues to take measures to assist in controlling the spread of the virus. These measures are in line with the requirements set forth by the Office of the Chief Medical Officer, and are in the best interest of the health of all residents of Newfoundland and Labrador. We appreciate your continued patience and understanding as we navigate the pandemic together.
